The Conservative and moderate Democrats in the Senate are caving. They are not listening to a majority of the American People. If you don't get on the phones in the next couple of days almost 20% of our economy will be in the hands of the hard left of this country. Right now these Senators are more afraid of the President and Moveon.org than you. We are listing email addresses and the telephone numbers that are actually working. They have allowed their voice mail boxes to remain full so they can't hear from you. We know that it is the Holiday Season and that is precisely what they are counting on. Get on the phones and emails. Call all of the below Senators and tell them even if you can't vote in their state you will send money to their opponent in the next election. If you don't make a serious effort to let these Senators know how you feel, don't complain about the results. America needs you..........
The President of the United States works for you. The Speaker of the House works for you. The Senate Majority Leader works for you. You are not a mob. You are not Nazis. You are not Un-American and the President can't tell you to shutup. Continue to make Our leaders listen to your concerns about Healthcare reform and the out of control spending. They use words and speeches to convince you that the rumors about their healthcare are outlandish. Make them use the proposed bill as their source. As they say in sports - 'lets go to the tape'. Insist that they tell you exactly in the bill where their information comes from. Those that oppose the bill have specific pages and paragraphs. Why don't the supporters do the same thing.

Healthcare Reform bill to be voted on this week in the U. S. House of Representatives. The Senate is poised to debate the bill in the fall after recess. Most Americans want some form of change to the healthcare system in America. But, it should take at least 6 months to a year to intelligently debate and reform our current system. A total revamp of our healthcare is not the answer. President Obama, Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker Pelosi want the government to take over the responsibility of running our healthcare system. Healthcare accounts for 17% of our economy. Haven't they already put the government in charge of enough of our econony? The same government that runs the U. S. Postal Service (always in deficit), Social Security System, Medicare and Amtrak. All agencies in trouble of failure or running deficits The President is trying to make the point that those of us opposed to his bill are trying to 'get him'. This healthcare reform bill could be called the Reagan Healthcare or JFK Healthcare bill and we would oppose it just as adamantly. It is a bad bill. You will be required to switch to the government sponsored healthcare if you change your plan at all after implemented. Your employer will have a grace period to switch over to government plan. If you join or change plans after the bill is signed you will be on a government plan. Despite what the President says you will not keep your doctor or plan if there are any changes after he signs the bill. There are so many reasons to oppose this plan. Read (St)Healthcare..... In an effort to cut costs the elderly will not receive knee replacements, hip replacements or bypass surgeries. This is the future if we don't do something to make Congress take their time and do this right.
Call Congress today - start with your Congressmen/women and Senator. After you have called them call the leadership of the Blue Dog Democrats and put pressure on them not to cave. We have three days to melt the phones in Washington.

25 June 2009 CAP and TRADE
The Cap and Trade bill will be voted on TODAY. Another Bill that nobody reads and slips through while we're not watching. What is Cap and Trade and why would it be bad for our country? Briefly: Cap and Trade is an attempt to slow global warming. They found out that using the term "Cap and Trade" didn't sit well with you so they call it the "Climate Bill". Good intentions gone wrong. Cap and Trade would limit all companies in the United States to a certain level of emissions. They would either be required to buy greener technology or purchase credits for their excessive emissions. Sounds great, but it will cost the average household $3800 in taxes and price increases each year. Read more.... Those that support this legislation will tell you that these estimates are high. If everything they propose works perfectly there will be no added cost to American Families. Yea, like the Stimulus Bill. We're still waiting for that money to get out.
The Cap would be a limit on the amount of emissions the companies are allowed to produce. If the company is unable to afford these new technologies the company would be required to purchase or Trade for emission certificates from other Companies or the government. Electric Companies would be hit hard. Guess who the ultimate regulator of the emission certificates is: The government (President Obama)
Why is it that every bill the President, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid want must be passed immediately, without real debate and under the radar? Are they afraid that next year we are going to replace the very Liberal leadership currently forcing this stuff down our throats with a more moderate to conservative Congress next year? We would venture to say that most of you didn't even know about this bill. Check it out. There is plenty of information on the internet. Call Congress Today, first thing in the morning. Don't put it off. At least make them read what their voting for.......
